Thanks for visiting my blog! I am a physician assistant living and working in the US. I like to write about health issues, such as depression and anxiety.

About six years ago, I quit smoking. As a result, food tasted better and I gained 30 pounds and 3 pant sizes.  I started exercising in the gym, and the weight slowly started to come off.  But it wasn’t until I started running that the weight began to come off more quickly.

I also started playing around in the kitchen to try to make lower fat, lower calorie foods. With this blog, I’d like to share some of my recipes with you, and I hope to encourage you to get fitter and healthier.
